Force India Boss to attend Motor Sport Forum at home of Monaco Grand Prix November 20, 2007

Indian billionaire Vijay Mallya, the new owner of the Spyker (formerly Jordan & Midland) F1 team has agreed to appear at the 2007 Motor Sport Business Forum in Monaco, home of the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix.

The new team, Force India, is joined by a new race (in 2010) in India. Announced formerly by Bernie Ecclestone after years of speculation the new race will be held in the National Capital Region of New Delhi. Mr Mallya has been a driving force in securing the race and is looking forward to addressing the forum in Monaco.

“A great many top executives from the world of global motorsport will be in Monaco and, from a business point of view, the Forum is the ideal place and time to introduce the Force India F1 concept to the great and good of the industry,” Mallya, stated.

Mallya joins Formula One figures such as FIA president Max Mosley, fellow team principals and bosses, as well as Eurosport’s Jacques Raynaud, Sir Jackie Stewart, ING F1 programme director Isabelle Connor and WilliamsF1’s head of marketing Scott Garrett on the list of speakers.

The Forum will once again precede the FIA Gala Awards Dinner in Monaco.
